Hi, my name is Courtney Hundtoft. I completed my bachelor’s degree in rehabilitative studies in 2014 and my master’s degree magna cum laude in occupational therapy in 2015 at College of Saint Mary. I am also a former elementary school teacher and have enjoyed working in the pediatric setting as part of my training in occupational therapy. I consider myself a lifelong learner and continue to teach every day in my therapy sessions. Over the past 10 years I have worked in a variety of settings across the lifespan including the intensive care unit, acute rehabilitation, the spine hospital, and outpatient oncology. I have specialties in lymphedema care and prevention through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies and breast cancer rehabilitation through Klose Training.

I have a passion for treating the mind and the body and for the past 5 years, along with managing lymphedema, I have focused on strength and endurance training, cognitive training, and stress management to best serve my clients in the oncology setting. I completed pelvic floor training in the fall of 2024 and continue to work towards completing my 200-hour yoga certification. Since having my three children and experiencing the different stages of healing and wellness pre-and post-partum, I have found a desire to learn more about pelvic floor function. Through my recent training I have personally benefited from learning about pelvic floor treatment and continue to utilize the new tools I have learned for my own wellness. I am excited to treat in this setting and hope to work with parents to provide them with additional support along their pregnancy and birthing journey. I enjoy working with clients and their families to identify what is most meaningful to them and to form personal goals that will enhance their quality of life and overall well-being.

My husband, John and I have three children, Christian, Harman, and Skylar, and our dog, Mookie. I enjoy singing, cooking/hosting, reading, yoga, and cycling. We love going to the zoo and traveling to Okoboji to spend time on the lake with family and friends! I feel so fortunate to get to do what I love for a living. I look forward to meeting new clients in the communities we serve at Thrive!
