Julia is a third year occupational therapy student at Creighton University. Originally from the St.
Louis area, Julia has lived in Omaha the past 5 years pursuing her occupational therapy degree.
She will be completing her Doctoral Capstone Experience at Thrive OT working to learn and
further advocate for the role of occupational therapy in promoting health and wellness. Julia
has completed courses including, Introduction to Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation, Myofascial Release
Basics for Traditional Healthcare, Oncology and the Pelvic Floor 1, and Occupational Therapy
Practice in Maternal Health and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Additionally, she has
completed clinical rotations centered on women’s mental health and lymphedema. She is
passionate about promoting holistic maternal and women’s health. Lastly, Julia loves to garden,
hike, embroider, and bake.

Mackenzie is an occupational therapist from Papillion, NE. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from College of Saint Mary in 2021. Mackenzie also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Rehabilitative Studies. Mackenzie has received specialized training through Herman & Wallace for Pelvic Floor 1 and 2A, as well as Pregnancy Rehabilitation. Mackenzie recently received her certificate in SOFFI®, a program designed to support oral feeding in infants. Mackenzie is passionate about mother/infant health and overall pelvic floor wellness beginning in pediatrics and beyond. Outside of work, Mackenzie enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 dogs.
